All of our staff are fully vaccinated by approved vaccines.

We follow all the new health and safety protocols which are in line with updated covid policies. Upon arrival at our nursery your child will have their temperature checked at the reception door by our lovely nurse, Ms Aida, and their shoes and bags are immediately sanitized. Your child will be met at reception by their teacher or teaching assistant and taken into their designated bubble. Children and staff will not mix with any other child or staff member who is from a different bubble. Throughout the day temperatures will be checked at regular intervals and hands are always washed regularly. All classrooms, corridors, nursery resources, teaching equipment and floors, door handles and surfaces are sanitized and disinfected throughout each day. The whole nursery premises is disinfected and sanitized at regular intervals throughout every day using approved sanitation products. Our cleaning procedures and products are approved by Dubai Municipality and Dubai Health Authority.

Don’t worry you will have regular updates about your child. From the very first day we will share photos and videos with you to show how your child is getting on inside the nursery. Our WhatsApp groups have been very popular with families. As well as having a WhatsApp group with the principal, you can have a separate WhatsApp group with your child’s class teacher where you will receive daily feedback and photos. You will also receive termly written reports from the class teacher to show the progress your child has made through all areas of the EYFS Curriculum. You can see your child’s class activities through our daily Facebook photos and updates unless you choose to opt out of this.

Yes of course! You can meet your child’s class teacher in person at the door and they will set up a WhatsApp group with you to share daily information and updates.

This is a completely natural feeling but please don’t worry your child will be in very safe hands with our professional, warm and caring staff. We always encourage parents to say a quick goodbye at the door. This is because it makes the settling process much easier and faster for the child. If your child cries at the door, they will not stay upset for long as there are so many fun distractions and activities going on inside their bubble. If after 10-15 minutes your child doesn’t settle, then you will be immediately informed by the principal and may be asked to come back earlier to pick your child up and we would continue the trial on another day. You will be updated and informed about how your child is doing from the moment they are dropped off at nursery and the principal is there to support you with this whole process. At Baby Home Nursery, we have a settling policy for each child and we would start with a maximum of 2 hours on the first day and gradually increase this timing throughout the first week to make sure your child settles well and is enjoying their nursery experience.

All of our teachers are trained in the EYFS Curriculum and receive additional nursery training at Baby Home. Each staff member has experience teaching young children in various settings and has relevant approved qualifications. We encourage open communication at nursery and your child’s class teacher is happy to set up a WhatsApp group with you to keep you updated and informed about your child’s learning and development at nursery.

Your child will be following EYFS curriculum activities appropriate for their age in line with the early learning goals. These activities will cover 7 areas of learning across the curriculum. We have monthly themes and weekly topics which we will share with you. Every day at nursery is filled with fun interactive learning activities for your child and the activities are in line with your child’s developmental age. We have personalized learning so your child can get the very best out of their nursery experience. There are a wide range of activities throughout the day so your child will never get bored! These activities include circle time songs and games, literacy and phonics, table-top topic activities and creative crafts, mathematics, physical development and motor control activities, sensory games, play area time and so much more! The principal and class teacher will be happy to provide more specific details about the daily routine and activities.
